Phillie of the Week: September 27-October 4

There was no point in just having Sunday's game as part of the postseason Phillie of the Week awards, so I threw it in to the last one of the regular season. The Phils clinched their third straight NL East title on Wednesday, so most of the regulars have been getting some time off this week, but there was still one guy who deserves to win. This week's Phillie of the Week is:

Ryan Howard

The big man did it again this week, hitting two home runs and driving in five, while batting .360. He also scored seven runs and finished tied with Prince Fielder for the major league RBI crown. For the year, Ryan hit 45 home runs and drove in 141 while tying his career high in runs scored with 105 and batting .279. The Phillies are going to need the same showing if they want to repeat as World Series Champions this October.
