Lee gets the call for Game One

After I spend all that time typing up the NLDS preview and talking about how no one is sure who the starting pitcher will be for Game One, it's announced that it will be Cliff Lee getting the start against the Rockies. Honestly, I think that Lee is the better choice, since Cole Hamels would have to pitch on short rest.

Lee will be going up against Ubaldo Jimenez, who is 0-1 with an 8.10 ERA in his career against the Phillies in the regular season. You might remember him from Game 2 of the 2007 NLDS, when he shut down the Phillies, allowing only one run in 6.1 innings. Hopefully, the good Cliff Lee and the regular season Jimenez show up tomorrow afternoon.
