Just when you thought the Eagles could stay out of the headlines for a few days, this little bombshell hits. Cornelius Ingram, the fifth round pick from Florida, has torn his ACL and will more than likely miss the season. It's the same injury he had his senior year at Florida, and if I'm a doctor, I'm telling him to find another line of work right now.
It's been just one thing after another for the Eagles so far this camp. Now, they're thin at tight end after their gamble on Ingram didn't pay off. Not only that, but DeSean Jackson hyperextended his knee yesterday, and is day to day. At this point, I'd suggest that Andy Reid just put all his players in some sort of protective bubble. It might be for the best.
