Phillie of the Week: September 26-October 2

The Phillies didn't need to do much this week, as their magic number was down to a single game after Sunday. Monday night, the Phils rolled into Washington, and nine innings later, they were champions of the National League East once again, and one man kept the Nationals from even starting to look like a threat. This week's Phillie of the Week is:

Roy Halladay

The 2010 season started with Roy Halladay pitching a dominant game in Washington, and the regular season culminated with another dominant Roy Halladay pitching performance. On Monday night, Halladay pitched a two hit, complete game shutout, striking out six and walking none. For the season, Halladay went 21-10 with a 2.44 ERA and 219 strikeouts. He became the first Phillies pitcher since Steve Carlton to win 20 games, and was the first Phillies right hander to win 20 games since Robin Roberts.

If Roy Halladay doesn't win the Cy Young Award, I don't know who should.
