Phillie of the Week: May 30-June 5

After struggling with the offense on the road earlier this week, the Phillies bounced back once they got home, winning their first two games against the National League West leading San Diego Padres. The offense looks like it's coming back into form as well, but this week belonged to a pitcher once again. This week's Phillie of the Week is:

Jamie Moyer

The 47 year old Moyer became the third pitcher in baseball history to win 100 games after turning 40. He did so with a complete game effort against the San Diego Padres after being on the short end of a 1-0 loss on Sunday against Florida. For the week, Moyer was 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA with three walks and three strikeouts.

Congrats, old man. Now, keep it going for the rest of the year.
